WAS I NOT IN GETHSEMANE?
I was not in Gethsemane
for His hard labor, all alone,
which wrought the greatest miracle
the world has ever known.
He asked that they should “Watch and pray.”
Confronting all, he wanted friends.
But they, exhausted, fell asleep.
An angel came to make amends.
Did mighty Garbriel’s comfort tell
how millions watched for Him that day?”
Did His Atoning need our faith?
Did we unsleeping, watch and pray?
